Hope,
Hope was put in the universe to roam,
To find you in the deepest of trenches,
To pick you up from a bottomless pit,
To show you that light at the end of the tunnel,
To help you rewrite a tragic story to have a beautiful ending,
To open shut doors,
To become your window of opportunity,
To be that rainbow at the end of tragedy,
The thing that makes you smile as you count the colours,
And think of the horizon and where this ends
To say to you “it’s going to be alright”.
